I finished it! Perfect thing to do on a rainy weekend. My age before beauty blanket isn’t as bright as Pip’s, and I did some stripey bits instead of all mostly squares. And I crocheted the strips together with single crochets and then did a binding of single crochet all around the outside. That’s the thing about this blanket, it’s unique for each person who makes it, and it’s so simple you can kind of do what you want with it, which I love.
It’s even got cat approval.
Made it with Bendigo Woollen Mills cotton on an H/8mm size hook (the colours are hyacinth, wild lavender, orchid, hollyhock, cypress, kiwi and honeydew). The cotton means it’s perfect for this in-betweeny weather, on my bed or snuggling on the couch with a book. I love autumn!
