Today was my last official day in the SU office. I’m still working for another week or so, but tomorrow is my work at home day, and next week we’re on staff retreat at Norah Head. So today was spent finishing off all sorts of jobs, packing up my desk and bringing home half the office furniture (amazing the amount of stuff I had gradually snuck in to my office to make it more comfy).
A few of us had lunch at the Big Tree House because that’s where we go when we want deliciousness. Their smoothies are wonderful. I ate too much. It was all good.
I am grateful for the time I’ve had at SU NSW, for being able to work with and get to know some wonderful people, to be involved in the ministry of this great organisation and to support the work of thousands of volunteers sharing the gospel with children, young people and families. It’s been a full on three years, but one with a lot of laughs and love in it too.
Though I’ll still be working with them in a freelance capacity, it won’t be quite the same. I’ll miss these clowns.
